Anyone found a great skincare product for very dry skin?
I have very dry skin around my face that is flaky most of the time. I have just spent a fortune after seeing a Clinique consultant and I am still not convinced that these products will work. I find serums more useful, but alot of creams give me spots, so I go from bad to worse! Anyone had a similar problem and found a great product?- The best product is *Spring*. Winter Stinks
- i use E45 cream. its available from chemist, and pretty much anywhere, or just ask your DP. it works really good for me and doesnt give me spots. but different products have different effects on people, so it might work. try it, coz it worked 4 me, and loads of my m8s. it was reccomended 2 me n i'm really greatfull. i hope you 2, good luck :
- Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin. Yogurt - honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. - You may want to try an oil - free moisteriser as it will not give you spots and will lightly moisterise. Theres plenty to choice from. Clinique are a great brand and maybe you should give them a go. For my dry but spot - prone skin I use boots clearskin, oil - free moisteriser
- you should include a regime of applying creams and lotions that contain Hyaluronic acid as this holds up to 1000 times its own weight in water leaving the skin feeling moist and smooth. Avoid applying water to the skin as this will only make your skin dryer. avoiding the sun is also something else that will help with dry skin. basically for creams you need to be looking at one that has a low water and high oil content. vitamin a will also help when applied and taken internally. you can find more information at nutrition4yourskin.co.uk /
- Palmers coco er is great but if that doesnt help then the E45 stuff is fab too, both cheap also
